RadiusOne

Now onboarding pilot ISPs in Uganda

Run your Wi-Fi and PPPoE business from one dashboard

RadiusOne is ISP billing software for internet service providers in Uganda that use MikroTik. It handles hotspot vouchers, PPPoE subscriptions, RADIUS logins and mobile money payments. Your customers pay with mobile money, and the money reaches your wallet.

How payments work

RadiusOne collects mobile money payments on behalf of the ISPs that use it, and passes the money on to them.

  1. The customer picks a package

On the ISP's Wi-Fi login page, or from the payment link on a PPPoE invoice.

  2. They pay with mobile money

MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money. Payments are processed by pawaPay.

  3. The ISP's wallet is credited

RadiusOne credits the amount, less the platform fee, to the ISP's wallet, and the customer is connected right away.

  4. The ISP withdraws

At any time, to the ISP's own mobile money number, once that number has been verified.

Customers pay the package price only. RadiusOne adds no charge on top.

Printed vouchers and agent sales are paid in cash to the ISP. The platform fee on those is taken from the ISP's wallet.

Each customer's internet service is provided by their ISP. Questions about a package or a connection go to the ISP first.

What ISPs get

Hotspot vouchers

Print voucher batches with QR codes, or let customers buy packages on the login page. Buying for someone else shows a code to share.

PPPoE subscriptions

Customers, monthly plans, and invoices by email with a payment link. Unpaid accounts are slowed down and see a notice page, and get full speed back seconds after paying.

Router onboarding

Connect a MikroTik router with one command. It reaches the platform through a secure tunnel, on RouterOS 7 or RouterOS 6.

Service setup

Choose the ports for PPPoE and hotspot, with or without VLANs, and get one command that sets them up. Or keep your own configuration.

Voucher agents

Agents buy float from the ISP and sell vouchers from their phone, with the commission each ISP sets.

Wallet and reports

Every sale, fee and withdrawal in one place, and sales reports across portal, printed and agent vouchers.

Team and technicians

Roles for owners, staff, technicians and agents. A technician who looks after several ISPs uses one login.

Network status

Routers online or offline, active sessions on each router, and failed logins with the reason.

Pricing

No monthly subscription to start. RadiusOne charges a fee per transaction, so the cost grows with your business, not ahead of it. Rates are agreed with each ISP.

Who it is for

Small and medium ISPs in Uganda that run MikroTik routers and sell Wi-Fi vouchers, PPPoE subscriptions, or both.

Questions ISPs ask

Which routers does RadiusOne work with?

MikroTik routers on RouterOS 7 or RouterOS 6. The router needs an internet connection to reach the platform.

Do I have to change my hotspot and PPPoE setup?

No. One command connects the PPPoE server and hotspot already on your router. If you prefer, the platform can set up the ports, with or without VLANs, on a router reset without its default configuration.

Which mobile money operators can my customers pay with?

MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money in Uganda, processed by pawaPay.

How do I get my money?

Withdraw your wallet balance at any time to your own mobile money number, once our staff have verified it. A withdrawal charge applies.

What if a customer pays but loses the voucher code?

They open the hotspot page again and find the code with the number they paid from and the transaction ID from their mobile money SMS.

Is there a monthly fee?

No monthly subscription to start. RadiusOne charges a fee per transaction, agreed with each ISP.
